Note that all deaf and hard of hearing athletes are required to apply for classification by filling in the form as found on our Classification page. This page also contain more information about Classification.

To represent for Australia at the Deaflympics or play for other sports not listed on our website, please contact Deaf Sports Australia for advice.

Deaf Rugby Australia – 27th – 28th March 2021 in Darwin, NT.

Swimming2021 Australian Age Swimming Championship on 5th to 12th April, in Gold Coast, QLD.

Classification is required in order to enter for deaf and hard of hearing swimmers.

Tennis2021 Australian Tennis Championship on 13th to 16th April, in Melbourne, VIC.

This is the country’s pinnacle tournament for people with an intellectual impairment, autism or deaf/hard of hearing. Classification is required in order to enter for deaf and hard of hearing players.
