A talented basketballer from WA advocating for more opportunities for Deaf people in sport. Ethan says he loves the “friendships you make along the way” and the fun of being active, and believes success comes from “dedication and hard work… even if you’re the youngest, the smallest or not even the best player, you still gotta put yourself in that mindset.” Ethan hopes more Deaf young people in WA will gain the confidence to play sports. His advice is simple: “Just give it a try… even professionals were bad at some stage. If you keep practising, you’ll get better.”
