A dedicated hip hop dancer from QLD passionate about independence and accessibility. Phoenix discovered dance at 12 and has since performed and competed around the world. “I love the energy of Hip Hop — the heaviness, the footwork, the freedom,” he says. As the only Deaf dancer in his crews, Phoenix has learned to adapt through vibration, teamwork, and resilience. His dream is to one day form a Deaf and hard of hearing Hip Hop collective. “Don’t depend on one person for your whole life,” he advises. “Be self-reliant, stand on your own two feet, and keep moving forward.”
